strategic communication training

Labóra’s workshop and consultancy methodology focuses on sharing tools and techniques and knowledge exchange, offered free of charge to leaders and their communication teams. We aim to make political communication a strategic pillar for mandates, campaigns, and political groups.

By leveraging research results and digital listening insights, we guide teams in creating targeted actions for specific audiences, ensuring effective and measurable communication outcomes.

Addressing concrete and tangible societal issues is a way to promote an aesthetic update of the discourse and symbols within the progressive field.

MANDATA LAB

Provides specialized, free training in Strategic Planning and Communication for 52 councilwomen and their communication teams from across Brazil over the course of their four-year terms. The program aims to enhance dialogue with society through narratives that promote diversity, social and environmental justice, and the strengthening of democracy—core issues championed by the selected councilwomen. The training workshops are led by experts, include personalized consultations, and offer full support for the creation and implementation of consistent and engaging Communication Plans. This program is supported by the Open Society Foundation.

ELECTORAL COMMUNICATION WORKSHOPS

To make political marketing more accessible, we offered tools for Strategic Planning and Communication during the 2024 municipal elections. These workshops were designed for candidates and campaign teams, with priority given to women, Black people, Indigenous communities, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and residents of marginalized areas. Our goal was to support effective dialogue with diverse groups of voters—representing a range of ideas and beliefs—while staying fi rmly within the democratic spectrum.

MONITORING SESSIONS

For female candidates and campaign communicators from all over Brazil.

Workload: 8 hours
Participants: 10 candidacies

We selected 12 women who participated in the Electoral Communication Workshops for weekly monitoring of their campaign’s Strategic Communication planning. We worked directly with the candidates and their communication teams, offering personalized support to strengthen electoral strategies, enhance their presence on social media, and develop consistent narratives that refl ect their proposals and values.

DIAGNOSES AND PLANNING

From 02/29 to 04/11/2024
For candidates in the state of São Paulo.

Workload: 24 hours
Participants: 10 candidacies

Program: Research and diagnosis of regional and national political context, mapping and performance evaluation of social media; history, analysis, and defi nition of the candidate’s persona and their issues, target audiences, and voter groups; action plan and strategy design for production, mobilization, and distribution; structuring of the communication team, budgets, and communication timeline.

SPECIALIZATION IN STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION

Participants: 40 candidacies

Program: Visual identity, tone of voice, and key messages guided by planning; basic kits; website, SEO, Google Ads, and Analytics, landing pages, newsletter distribution; content production: storytelling, language and aesthetics, videos, strategic actions, use of AI; engagement on social media, ads, and result measurement; press, media training, press releases, candidate’s customer service, radio and local newspaper insertions; electoral communication legislation.

Labóra offers workshops focused on the collaborative development of Strategic Planning and Communication for legislative mandates, political parties, leaders, and advocacy groups. By crafting narratives and messages in an organized and continuous manner—before, during, and after elections—we expand the reach of progressive ideas. We maintain a consistent dialogue with diverse groups, addressing critical issues such as human rights, gender equality, combating racism, homophobia, and transphobia, tackling climate change, and strengthening democracy.

EDMILSON SOUZA

Development of the Strategic Communication Plan for the Re-election Campaign of Councilor Edmilson Souza in Guarulhos (SP). We brought together specialist professionals with complementary experiences in strategic communication, social media, and Political Marketing in a collaborative partnership between Labóra and Codi – Comunicação de Impacto.

The Strategic Communication Plan aimed to guide the creation, production, and distribution of materials developed by the campaign’s communication team. Based on the diagnostic, we adjusted the language and directed the messages to different voter groups, making the communication production more efficient and effective in converting votes.

Edmilson was re-elected councilor with 4,698 votes.
